"We're taking a break from tweaking tracks in the studio and from sitting at home baking pies. Joins us for a night a dreamy songs."

Ms. Yvette plays keyboards and sings about the mysteries of housework and
nature. Peter Zummo rambles through a forest of electronic ambience
with a trombone. Zummo, legendary trombonist and composer, has worked
with too many to name but notably: Arthur Russell, Trishia Brown, and
John Lurie. Yvette and Zummo are members of New York's avant-pop/jazz
group Birdbrain. Tonight they are joined by the fabulous Danny Tunick on vibes and percussion.

Yvette Perez (synthesizer/vocals) fronts the avant-pop/improv quintet Birdbrain (www.theworldofbirdbrain.com). She is currently working on a recording with Peter Zummo. She plays as a solo artist and as a member of the New York pop/rock group ((O)) and Noisy Meditation. She has also performed with Charles Waters and Vito Ricci.

Peter Zummo has been composing for ensemble since 1967, and for
trombone since 1971, in pursuit of the evolving boundary of music-
making and brass culture. From 1975 to the present he has performed
and recorded the work of composers including David Behrman, Barbara
Benary, Rhys Chatham, Nick Didkovsky, David First, Jon Gibson, Daniel
Goode, William Hellermann, Annea Lockwood, Jackson MacLow, Phill
Niblock, Larry Polansky, Elizabeth Swados, Yasunao Tone, and Yoshi
Wada. As a Professor of Music at Ohio Wesleyan University, he teaches
with the New York Arts Program, a program of the Great Lakes Colleges
Association. Since 1978, he has been Artistic Director of The Loris
Bend Foundation, Inc., a non-profit producer and presenter of music,
dance, and media.

Percussionist Danny Tunick enjoys flowers, vests, and twinkly eyes. He can be heard on Arnold Dreyblatt and the Orchestra of Exciting Strings' "The Adding Machine," 3 CDs by the group Barbez, and two versions of Terry Riley's "In C," among many other classical, punk rock, and strange music CDs. Current projects include Elliot Sharp's Carbon Orchestra, Rebecca Moore's Prevention of Blindness, the Dan Joseph Ensemble, and Dan Kaufmann's Celan Project.
