THE SHARP THINGS are an indie pop ensemble, sometimes
boasting members in the double-digits. singer/songwriter/pianist
perry serpa takes his cues from classic songwriters like randy
newman, elton john, jimmy webb
and burt bacharach, but the band are regularly
compared to things like the divine comedy, magnetic fields
and belle & sebastian. their current (and
2nd) LP Foxes & Hounds out on Bar/None, met with
rave reviews when it was released last summer.
