QUEENS is the solo project of Brooklyn
resident Scott Mou. After two hypnotically charged albums as the
duo JANE (Paw Tracks, Psych-o-Path) with Noah
Lennox of the Animal Collective &
touring as a part of the improvisational group Usun
with Hisham Bharoocha, Mark Borthwick
and Dave Aaron it's time to release his solo
entity. Nylon string guitar, voice and minidisc recordings are
fed through a haze of delay creating a trance inducing fog which
falls somewhere between Arthur Russell & Simon Finn. Intimate,
dark and beautiful.
