About Deathbed:
Deathbed takes inspiration from ancient Greek ceramics,
using the same style of visual representation in order to allude
to dramatic episodes from Greek mythology in which the protagonists'
struggle ends in an escalating spiral of excessive violence. The
video presents a decadent world where the distinction between
pleasure and humiliation is obscured and the battle between Eros
and Thanatos is destructive.
About the program:
LOVE Sum Game
This is a video night about duets: from lovers to enemies, and
about relationships' promises and leftovers, from emotional to
physical. This night goes in cycles between days and nights, winners
and losers, life and death- it starts with a love bird and ends
with a zero sum game.
Artists include Stephanie Lempert, Eytan
Heller, Ofri
Cnaani, Tricia Mclaughlin, Dan
Acostioaei & Ann Wodinski, and Ariel Efron
Laconic
Zero hit the stage first time late 2004 and was founded
by the bass player and composer Trond Harald Jensen (b.140379)
(aka mindy misty, turboraketti). As his first sounds on the
commodore 64 saw it's birth 1993 it's a matter of course he still
uses this machine for creativity and inspiration. Laconic Zero
live shows has so far been on stages in Oslo and Bergen.
Progressive beats traced by distorted metal bass filth with intense
8-bit synths are the beginning of this experimental one man band.
Laconic Zero will work with producer Mark Kramer in NYC late october
2006 on the debut album which will be released by the Oslo indie-label
Handmade Records.Inspired of bands like dazzling killmen, trans
am and next life this project's in development.
