This is a rare chance to see Backworld in this intimate setting
transfused
with symbolic imagery. With four studio albums released through
English
esoteric label World Serpant and a series of concert dates in
unique venues around Europe.
Backworld is the vision of Joseph Budenholzer,
who recently returned from three years living in Scotland where
he was recording the new album 'Good Infection' to be released
in 2007. His band has featured a changing roster of players —
collaborators including Jarboe, David
Tibet, Isobel Campbell, Rose
Mcdowell, Antony (of the Johnsons).
Arrangements of guitar, strings, percussion, electronics, revolve
around
lyrics concerned with ecstatic religious yearnings and tales of
otherworldly visions. Come With Joy!
