Dru Barnes pours chemicals onto vinyl as it spins, building lush textures, destroying and then restoring the original sound of the records. Tim Rusterholz's computer programs semi-randomly generate tones within changing constraints; as each tone sounds, it is mapped onto the screen as a colored shape. Rusterholz's cello and Brian Lindgren's viola subtly weave together these divergent soundscapes into an experience that transcends musical and artistic conventions.
