Two Side Musicians Take Center Stage:

*El May* is Perth-born, Sydney-raised Lara Meyerratken. Having toured as an occasional member of bands Luna, Ben Lee, Dean & Britta, Nada Surf, and Crooked Fingers, Meyerratken is a captivating and tenacious performer. Her indelible sense of harmony made a big noise (quietly) as the secret weapon on Ben Lee's Awake Is the New Sleep. Independent film lovers will recognize her song "Hero" as the one sung by Michelle Williams in "The Baxter."

*CIRCUIT PARADE* is a new quartet formed by Joe McGinty. McGinty has worked with Ryan Adams, Martha Wainwright, The Psychedelic Furs, The Ramones and many others. CIRCUIT PARADE is a collective exploration of pop songwriting and arrangements, fused with improvisation and experimental electronics. Circuit Parade features McGinty (vocals and keyboards), Mike McGinnis (woodwinds), Eleanor Norton (cello) and Leon Dewan (Dewanatron). CIRCUIT PARADE will debut a new video from their forthcoming CD.
